How to apply for free sewing machine scheme
- Visit the official website of the Free Silaai Machine Yojana (www.india.gov.in. )
- On the homepage, click on the ‘Apply for Free Sewing Machine’ option.
- An application form page can be viewed on the screen in PDF format. Take a print out of the same and fill in the required information (name, father,/husband’s name, date of birth).
- After filling the details, please add the photograph along with your application form and submit all the documents to the concerned office. For this, you can approach the Office of the Social Welfare Department and the Block Development Office.
- The officer will conduct a scrutiny of the information provided by you in the documents. After checking, you will be given a free sewing machine.
